Accommodation Policies

We look forward to welcoming you. To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all, please take a moment to review our key policies.

Reservations

Identification: A copy of photo ID and car registration is required at check-in.
 

Booking Confirmation: A valid credit card is needed to secure your booking. All reservations are subject to availability.
 

Deposits: Group bookings made directly with us require a deposit.
 

Cancellations:
 

  • 14+ days before arrival (individual bookings): No charge.
     

  • 7–14 days before arrival (individual bookings): One night’s charge.
     

  • Within 7 days or no-show (individual bookings): No refund.
     

  • 30+ days before arrival (group bookings, 2+ rooms): $100 cancellation fee, balance refunded.
     

  • Within 30 days (group bookings): If we cannot rebook all rooms/sites, up to 15% of the total cost may be retained.
     

  • Group date transfers: Allowed within 12 months (subject to availability, seasonal rate changes, and non-refundable unused credits).
     

  • OTA bookings (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.): Must be cancelled directly with the booking agent.
     

    • 48+ hours before check-in: No charge.
       

    • Within 24 hours: One night’s charge applies.

No Shows: Guests who fail to arrive without notice will not be refunded.

Bond / Security Deposit

Requirement: A refundable security bond is taken at check-in for all stays (long stays, groups, or special bookings).
 

Amount: Typically $200.00 (may vary depending on stay length, group size, or room type).
 

Payment: Payable by credit card or cash at check-in. Refunded to the same method once your room is checked.
 

Coverage: The bond covers damages, lost keys, excessive cleaning, late check-outs, or noise/behaviour issues.
 

Refund: Returned in full once the room is inspected and no issues are found.

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: You’ll receive a message when your room is ready.
 

Reception Hours : (Winter) 9:00am – 4:30pm. (Summer) 8.30am - 5pm. Please arrange in advance for late arrivals.
 

Keys: Collect your room key from reception.
 

Check-Out: 10:00am.
 

Late Check-Out: $50 fee applies unless pre-approved.
 

Lost Keys: $25 per key. Door lock replacement costs extra.

Payments

Methods Accepted: Visa, MasterCard, debit cards, and cash.
 

Full Payment: Due 7 days before arrival (off-peak), 14 days before arrival (peak) - unless agreed otherwise.
 

Currency: All charges are in New Zealand dollars.
 

Surcharge: 3% applies to all credit card payments.
 

PayWave: Not available.

Smoking & Alcohol

Smoking: Strictly prohibited indoors. Smoking stands are available in designated outdoor areas. Please use these and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
 

Alcohol: Drinking is allowed in rooms, but excessive consumption leading to disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Accessibility

Rooms: One accessible unit is available – please request in advance.
 

Parking: Accessible parking is available near rooms.

Noise & Conduct

Quiet Hours: 7:00 pm – 8:00 AM.
 

Excessive Noise: Loud music, parties, or disturbances will not be tolerated.
 

Respect: All guests are expected to treat fellow guests and staff with courtesy. Aggressive or abusive behaviour may result in eviction.
 

No Party Policy: Parties and large gatherings are not permitted.

Group Bookings

Approval: Reservations of 3+ rooms require management approval.
 

Conditions: Extra bond, pre-payment, or a signed group conduct agreement may be required.
 

Gatherings: Must be limited to rooms or designated areas.

Child Policy

Welcome: Children are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult.
 

Supervision: Children under 12 must be supervised at all times, especially in the pool. Rough play is not permitted.
 

Conduct & Safety: Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring appropriate behaviour and covering any damages caused.

Visitors

Registration: All visitors must sign in at reception with ID.
 

Hours: Visiting hours are 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (unless pre-arranged).
 

Overnight: Only registered guests may stay overnight.
 

Facilities: Facilities (pool, BBQ, laundry room) are for registered guests only.
 

Responsibility: Guests are liable for their visitors’ behaviour and any damages caused.

Fair Stay 

Right to Cancel: Management reserves the right to cancel bookings for unauthorised parties, gatherings, or events.
 

Immediate Eviction: Guests causing disruptions, noise complaints, or policy breaches may be asked to leave without refund.
 

Serious Incidents: Security or local authorities may be contacted if necessary.

Privacy

Personal Information: Used only for your stay and not shared unless required by law.
 

Complaints: Please report any disturbances so we can address them promptly.
 

Final Authority: Management reserves the right to make final decisions regarding guest conduct.
